Rescued a stalled platform a 3×-priced CMMI-L3 vendor couldn't ship
Problem: An Australian building-technology company needed a 3D viewer for architectural-plan cost estimation; their incumbent — a CMMI Level 3 firm at 3× our per-dev rate — had moved it only 20% in 12 months, and the viewer kept crashing.
What we did: Built a working 3D-viewer demo first to prove it, then rebuilt in .NET with a weekly rhythm — Monday scope-lock call, Friday written summary of completed / pending / needs-clarification.

Rebuilt a failing ops platform — minutes to milliseconds
Problem: An Australian solar-installation company (now an award-winning installer) had an in-house PHP/CodeIgniter Sales & Ops platform stuck in a fix-one-break-another loop — an un-normalized DB (some tables 50–60 columns), tangled dependencies, slow fetches.
What we did: Showed the owner that patching meant ~80% code changes and still risked breaking, so we recommended a rewrite — event-driven, normalized + properly-indexed DB, vertical sharding for project tables, with one engineer in their timezone.
Result: data fetching went from minutes to milliseconds; rebuilt over ~16 months and still the backbone of their operations.
